This was the world I designed for a personal project called The Old Ones. All the assets were made by myself using Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Speedtree and built in Unreal Engine. You can read the devlog or download and play the game.
This is the intro scene to the visual concept for how I envision the game The Old Ones - The world has been torn asunder by an unknown cataclysmic event, you are the last guardian and it is up to you to find the others and restore their power to this world.
High resolution facial sculpt done in ZBrush, retopologised in Maya and textured in Substance Painter
Based on the infamous AMC Pacer, this was one of the cartoonified cars I designed for Rattletrap Racing. To fit within the game's theme of racing terrible cars, it was painted in Substance Painter to look old and dilapidated.
The M92 Laser, the modifier for this model was to create either a retro-science fiction weapon or a western one. Inspired by Zoe’s Winchester Model 1892 Mule from Joss Whedon's Firefly series, I tried to tackle both. Made up of 5000 polys, the hard surface was a modeled in ZBrush and Maya, the gun’s 1024x1024 px texture was done in Photoshop.
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon was a modular environment designed from a creation kit. The entire scene here is made up of 28 modular pieces and 14 unique pieces. Each piece is less than 250 polys with a texture of 512 x 512 px.
